These images show sites, shooting position, "hasty sighting positions", and such. "Individual Instruction in Rifle Practice--Revised Edition" is a carbon copy from typed originals, presented on onion-skin paper. At the top of the title page/table of contents--but crossed out--is "Training Regulation No. 150-5" and "War Department, Washington" and then underneath that, "Marksmanship--Rifle--Individual". +++There are ten sections: general provisions; first step, sighting and aiming; second step, positions; third step, trigger squeeze; fourth step, rapid fire; nomenclature; effects of wind--sight changes; fifth step, examination of men before starting range practice; gallery practice; range practice. Rare. No copies located in OCLC. I cannot tell if this was issued in this format, or something similar. It is no doubt one of only a few copies (as a carbon). Condition: the edges of the onion skin paper are tattered here and there, though overall the document is in GOOD condition. Binding: the blank front leaf has a number of tears and tatters, and the whole is bound with a metal clasp at top.
