Infant Baptism Scriptural And Reasonable: And Baptism By Sprinkling Or Affusion, The Most Suitable And Edifying Mode, In Four Discourses (1835)

Infant Baptism Scriptural And Reasonable: And Baptism By Sprinkling Or Affusion, The Most Suitable And Edifying Mode, In Four Discourses (1835) is a theological work written by Samuel Miller. The book argues in favor of infant baptism, using both scriptural evidence and logical reasoning to support the practice. Miller also argues that the most appropriate method of baptism is by sprinkling or affusion, as opposed to immersion. The book is divided into four discourses, each covering a different aspect of the topic. The first discourse examines the scriptural basis for infant baptism, while the second discourse focuses on the historical precedent for the practice. The third discourse discusses the practical benefits of infant baptism, and the fourth discourse addresses the question of the most suitable mode of baptism. Overall, Infant Baptism Scriptural And Reasonable: And Baptism By Sprinkling Or Affusion, The Most Suitable And Edifying Mode, In Four Discourses (1835) is a comprehensive and well-researched defense of infant baptism from a prominent theologian of the 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
