Synopsis

La humanidad es inmortal; hace años que el profesor Milton Roosevelt creó y propagó por toda la Tierra el virus que permite al sistema nervioso humano regenerarse por siempre. Pero esta inmortalidad viene con un inconveniente: al cumplir los doscientos años de edad, el cuerpo falla bruscamente y se deteriora, condenando a la raza humana a vivir encerrada en su propio cerebro, dentro de cuerpos decrépitos que no pueden morir. Este proceso es conocido como La Decadencia.

Year 2500. Professor Milton Roosevelt spread a virus that allows the human nervous system to regenerate forever. This immortality comes with one drawback: on reaching two hundred years of age, the body fails abruptly, condemning humanity to live locked within decrepit bodies that can’t die.

Ha resultado finalista del certamen Alucinadas IV de relatos de ciencia ficción, así como seleccionade en la antología De-Tinta Social sobre salud mental y en la antología Mary Shelly de la editorial Tinta Púrpura, entre otras.
