Mak is a high-functioning, perceptive Greek American teen who sees the world differently-through patterns, through fractals, through a quiet logic that others often miss. After the loss of her father and her mother's sudden illness, Mak is uprooted to the luminous island of Santorini, where she must live with her eccentric uncle, a world-renowned composer. For the first time, she is thrust into a life she has never known: high school, friendships, social rules-and the disorienting intensity of first love.

Niki Lambropoulos a writer and scholar bridging ancient storytelling wisdom with the future of narrative. Niki is a writer, screenwriter, and scholar bridging ancient storytelling wisdom with the future of narrative. Born in Ancient Olympia, Greece, she draws inspiration from Greek cultural heritage and classical storytelling traditions in her creative and academic work.She studied Creative Writing, the History of Contemporary Art, and Screenwriting at the University of the Arts London, Sotheby's Institute of Art, the University of East Anglia, and with Robert McKee in Los Angeles. She holds a BA and Diploma in Education, an MA in Digital Humanities from the Institute of Education, University College London (UCL), and a PhD in Digital Humanities from London South Bank University.Niki is the editor of two books and the author of ten novels and short-story collections, as well as three monographs on creative storytelling and narrative theory, exploring the enduring principles of narrative from classical philosophy to contemporary media.She teaches Creative Storytelling at the University of Patras in Greece, where her research focuses on storytelling theory, digital humanities, and the evolving relationship between narrative and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.Her creative work spans short stories, novels, stage plays, and screenplays, often blending history, mythology, and contemporary storytelling. She has written and produced two short films, and her first feature film is currently in production for 2026. Her work has received international recognition and awards and is a Writers' Guild of Great Britain (WGGB), and a Women in Film and Television - Greece (WIFT-GR) member.
