In the era of globalization, Indian industries are facing pressure to green their supply chain at international and domestic levels. It is because of the reason that environmental concerns have gained more attention recently among Indian organizations, and still, it needs to recognize an adequately significant number of factors related to environmental and sustainable issues from industrial viewpoints. Green Supply Chain Management is an emerging aspect abiding which has brought a drastic change worldwide.
Sustainability Management is a blend of supply chain management practices and environmental considerations. It is playing a major role in sustaining the environment thereby enhancing the economic and ecological footprint of industries. Indian Industries are under tremendous compulsion from customers' environmental awareness and stricter environmental regulations to incorporate ethical and environmental considerations in all facets of traditional supply chain management. (Luthra et al., 2011; Mathiyazhagan et al., 2013, Mangla et al., 2014b). By adopting the GSCM Indian manufacturing companies can lead to resolvent of societal issues and scarcity of natural resources.
