Alex Preda is reader in sociology at the University of Edinburgh. He is the co-editor of The Sociology of Financial Markets (Oxford University Press, 2005) and the author of Framing Finance: The Boundaries of Markets and Modern Capitalism (Chicago University Press, 2009).
