Information Search Pattern in Electronic Environment

Technological developments in recent years - particularly in the area of computers, telecommunications, and storage technologies - have significantly changed the way researchers generate, collect, organize, present, disseminate, and share information. Librarians need to be familiar with multi-platform systems in order to serve and aid their clientele. Their knowledge of organizing and indexing information for the researcher will have intrinsic value, especially for the end-users when they search the system. This book examines the information search patterns of science doctoral students in the electronic environment.
