Infrastructure Development in Rural Areas in Andhra Pradesh P with Special Reference to Kodangal Mandal, Mahaboobnagar District

During the last 15 years the policy makers have become increasingly concerned with the adequacy of infra-structure. In context of economic liberalization and macro-economic development infrastructure plays a crucial role and provides an enabling environment for the productivity of households and firms and farms. The role of social infrastructure is equally important in wider context of equity and affordability. In the current phase of economic development the rural areas have to a play a major role since they are abode of nearly 80 per cent of the population of India, but the normative base of infrastructure in rural is low.
