Measures about 6" x 4". 518 pages. Deep purple, flexible leather covers with bright gold lettering on the spine. Finish of leather has worn at head and heel of spine and at tips of corners. No tears to leather. Purple endpapers. Hinges are fine. No date found in book. Appears to be late 19th century. Gold top edges. One illustration page has a vertical crease. Rear pasted endpaper has cracked vertically from bending flexible cover while opening.
