Inheritance

Edward was never meant to survive. As a dying child, he became the sole success of an experimental medical treatment that should have killed him. Decades later, he is stronger than any ordinary man, heals from impossible injuries, and has never known illness. He always believed it was a miracle. He was wrong.

When his young son develops the same mysterious illness that nearly claimed Edward's life, a desperate search for answers leads him back to the enigmatic Dr. Graham, the man who saved him all those years ago. But the truth waiting inside the doctor's forgotten clinic is more horrifying than Edward could ever imagine.

Now Edward must confront the devastating legacy of the gift flowing through his blood, uncover the deadly secrets hidden behind decades of unethical research, and decide whether extraordinary power is worth the unimaginable price it demands.

As grief turns to determination, one ordinary man discovers that being a hero isn't about the abilities you possess, it's about the choices you make when everything you love has been taken from you.

Matthew has been writing since a young child. He has written screenplays and even made a short film that was shown at the Lisbon Film Festival and at the pinewood short film festival. But his passion was writing books.
