[13], 225 p., Gr.-8°, O-Cloth with gilt Letters Alice Bailey (1880-1949) joined 1915 in California to the Adyar, Theosophical Society of Helena Petrowna Blavatsky. From 1919 on she received messages from the "Tibetian" per telepathical contact. He transmitted her teachings and "dictated" a couple of books. In 1920 inner tensions in the Theosophical Society caused a splitting. 1923 Bailey named, on suggestion of the "Masters", her association "Arcan School". In Switzerland this society is known under the title "Lucis Trust", which has an administration in New York. - Cover is a bit knocked; the cutted side of the paper with spot, else a good copy.
