In addition, he is the author / coauthor of 10 book chapters and over 230 research papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Yuan was awarded Dean's Teaching Award in 2017, Ryerson Research Chair award in 2005, Dean's Research Award in 2004, Early Tenure from Ryerson University in 2003, Doctoral Scholarship from the Natural Science and Engineering ResearchCouncil of Canada in 1997 and 1998, Teaching Excellence Award from Changzhou Institute of Technology in 1988, and Science and Tech.
