Published in concert with the Cleveland Public Library, this journal contains many fascinating articles and photos & illustrations about the early history of the Great Lakes: ships, shipping, people (eg., "Hosea Rogers, Builder of Boats" in the 1820-1840's), forts, lights, etc. They are all bound in blue stapled wrappers with black cover lettering and decoration. Four of the numbers have a previous owner name on the front wrapper. One number has a tear to the top edge of the rear wrapper; all numbers appear to have had a sticker removed from the bottom of the rear wrapper; there is some sun fading to the spines and some have a bit of fading to the wrappers. There do not appear to be any internal markings or owner names. The early issues of this periodical are uncommon.
