Naif R. Aljohani is Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, UK. He received the Bachelors degree in Computer Education from King Abdul Aziz University, 2005. In 2009, he received the Master degree in Computer Networks from La Trobe University, Australia. His research interests are in the areas of mobile and ubiquitous computing, mobile and ubiquitous learning, learning and knowledge analytics, semantic web, Web Science, technology enhanced learning and human computer interaction. He has more than 40 research publications.
Ernesto Damiani is a Full Professor at the Universita degli Studi di Milano, where he leads the SESAR research lab, and the leader of the Big Data Initiative at the EBTIC/Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Ernesto holds/has held visiting positions at a number of international institutions, including George Mason University in Virginia, US, Tokyo Denki University, Japan, LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia, and the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) at Lyon, France. He is a Fellow of the Japanese Society for the Progress of Science. He is the Principal Investigator of the H2020 TOREADOR project. He was a recipient of the Chester-Sall Award from the IEEE IES Society (2007). He was named ACM Distinguished Scientist (2008) and received the IFIP TC2 Outstanding Contributions Award (2012). Ernesto serves in the editorial board of several international journals; among others, he is the EiC of the International Journal on Big Data and of the i. He is Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Service-oriented Computing and of the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems. Ernesto is a senior member of the IEEE and served as Vice-Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Industrial Informatics. In 2008, Ernesto was nominated ACM Distinguished Scientist and received the Chester Sall Award from the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.
Kwok Tai Chui received the B.Eng. degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering Business Intelligence Minor, with first-class honor, from City University of Hong Kong in 2013, where he is a Ph.D. candidate and is fully completed at the winter in 2017. He was the recipient of international awards in several IEEE events. For instance, he received the 2nd Prize Award (Postgraduate Category) of 2014 IEEE Region 10 Student Paper Contest, and Best Paper Award in IEEE The International Conference on Consumer Electronics-China, in both 2014 and 2015.
