RA�L ZURITA (Santiago de Chile, 1950) se ci�e a la gran tradici�n po�tica chilena desde la publicaci�n de sus primeros libros Purgarorio (1979) y Antepara�so (1982). Su obra, traducida a cerca de una decena de idiomas, es reconocida como una de las m�s s�lidas y fascinantes de la literatura contempor�nea. La poes�a de Ra�l Zurita parte de la cicatriz, de la entra�a; es una guerza de impacto, una suerte de golpe solar vertido en palabras, en actos po�ticos. Este desbordamiento interior, esta herida, se extiende en el poeta chileno m�s all� del papel, hasta las cordilleras, hasta la vastedad del cielo; como si ese sentir no cupiera en un solo cuerpo y tuviera que abrirse ilimitadamente.
