About the Author
Lori Perkins is the founding partner of Perkins, Rubie and Associates, a New York literary agency which represents about 150 authors and has foreign representation in 11 countries. In addition to her 15 years as an experienced literary agent, Perkins has also been an adjunct professor of journalism at New York University and has also published articles on writing in Publishers Weekly and the 1994 Guide to Literary Agents. She lives in New York City.
