Inspirational Romance Reader Historical Collection #1

A one-room country school in rural Washington State is about the last place college-educated Trinity Mason pictures herself. Yet, committed to her grandmother's belief that the torch of learning must be passed on, Trinity perseveres, confident that God has a plan for her. A Torch for Trinity is a heart-warming story set during the early years of the tumultuous twentieth century. Wagon trains dot the horizon on the Oregon Trail as adventure seekers, such as Esther Wheeler, stake their hopes on a new start in the West. Blond, beautiful, and once a captive of the Seneca, Esther knows the ways of both the white man and the Indian. But she is unprepared to be the prize in an epic struggle between a warrior and an army scout. In Whispers on the Wind, who will earn the right to ride with Esther? One day changes everything for Mary Lou Mackey. Yesterday she was the blissful child of the prairie racing to her home in Venture, Kansas, her hands clinging to her horse's mane. Then she finds her mother dead, her pa has disowned her, and her love is gone. Despite everything, Mary Lou remains caught up in her own Cottonwood Dreams, but was it time to give up those dreams? The father who deserted her when she was eight years old now wants to see her, but to Magdelena Intissar it's too late. With a temper to match her magnificent auburn hair, she is about to give Garrett Lucas a run for his money as he attempts to escort her by train to this auspicious meeting with her father. In the rousing romance A Place to Belong, Maggie would rather face the perilous prairie than the painful memories of her childhood.
