About the Author: Dr. Josie Carr has a love for God and a love for learning. She currently serves as Executive Director of Education at new Life Christian Elementary School in Houston, Texas. Throughout her 20 plus years in education, Dr. Carr has served as a teacher, principal, and Special Education Coordinator. Dr. Carr was formally educated at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. She holds an undergraduate degree in Physical Education, two Masters Degrees in Special Education and Mid-Management, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. Dr. Carr enjoys fulfilling her purpose in life through ministry and education, spending time with her family, and helping others achieve their highest potential. She is a wife of Dr. Stanley Carr and proud mother of Jarvis and Jakia Carr.
