Paul Kirschner has traveled throughout the U.S. giving seminars on business plan preparations for units of the SBA, Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Labor. He was former director of SCORE/SBA, commandant of a 1,500-student Army Reserve School and taught college-level army courses. He has been an analyst of more than 100 diverse small business operations and counseled over 1,000 clients. His career includes managing and controlling manufacturing firms grossing from $500,000 to $25 million, and working with manufacturers in the Far East, Latin America, Russia, Hungary, Kenya, Egypt, the Caribbean and China.
Gustav Berle died at the age 76 in late 1996. We will miss him dearly. He authored Free Help from Uncle Sam to Start Your Business (3rd ed.), both published by Puma Publishing, Inc., as well as ten other books for Wiley, McGraw-Hill and Prentice-Hall. Berle taught at Florida International University and had a Ph.D. in business administration. He was formerly National Marketing Director of SCORE/SBA, as well as a publisher, editor and public relations consultant.
