The Instrument You Are

The Instrument You Are is a thirty-day devotional that lays a clear, biblical foundation for worship—what it is, why it matters, and how it shapes both our lives and the worship ministries we serve.

Rooted in Scripture and written with theological depth and practical clarity, these compact entries are meant to be read slowly and considered prayerfully. Each day explores themes such as surrender, humility, integrity in public ministry, worship in spirit and truth, waiting on God, guarding against idolatry, the role of prayer, the ministry of music, healthy team culture, burnout, gratitude, excellence, and eternal worship.

This devotional is for anyone who is part of, supports, or desires to better understand worship ministry. Whether you serve on a team, support from behind the scenes, or simply long to grow in your understanding of biblical worship, these pages speak to the formation of the inner life and the outward expression of worship within the life of the church.
