Shao Lee Soo is Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He received his Sc.D. in Physics from Harvard University in 1951. He has taught Mechanical Engineering at Princeton and the University of Illinois since 1951. He is a Fellow of ASME and received the Fulbright-Hayes Distinguished Lecturer Award and the Thomas Baron Award from AiChE. He has written and edited extensively in the field of Fluid Dynamics, including 6 books.
