Integrated Farming Systems: Approach to boost farm income

In the present agrarian scenario amply indicated that agriculture component alone is not effective and remunerative to the farming community comprising mostly small and marginal farmers. integrated farming alone helps in the efficient and effective utilization of the by products. Integration of agriculture with livestock, poultry, fisheries, bio-gas production and vermicomposting etc will provide scope for prudent utilization of resources like land and water besides employment generation. The system improves soil productivity levels, helps socio-economic upliftment of the farmers and for sustainable livelihoods means. The system helps for inclusive growth of rural economy without harming the environment. The results and models depicted in the book will fulfill the requirements of farmers, researchers and students.
