Michael C. Gadway has been thoroughly trained in the Vedic sciences, beginning his spiritual studies with Roy Eugene Davis in 1988. He was ordained into the Kriya Yoga tradition in 2003. His knowledge includes Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and the Bhagavad Gita.
Gadway holds a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Lawrence University and a degree in chiropractic medicine from the University of Western States. He was the attending physician at an autoimmune clinic, where he combined his expertise in functional and Ayurvedic medicine.
Gadway retired in 2014 to focus on writing and lecturing. He and his wife, Mitzi, raised six sons in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, where they live today.
