Von Organisationen bleibt in modernen Gesellschaften kaum ein Individuum un- r�hrt. Dies betrifft nicht nur die Notwendigkeit zur Daseinsvorsorge, sondern auch die Auswirkungen des Arbeitens auf die Qualit�t des Menschseins an sich. Orga- sationen lassen Menschen nicht „kalt“. Vielmehr werden die Psyche und das - f�hlsleben des Einzelnen mannigfaltig tangiert: „Was in Organisationen geschieht, l�sst Menschen auf- oder verbl�hen, bereitet ihnen Freude oder Langeweile, macht sie leiden und erkranken, bietet Gelegenheit oder N�tigung zur Verdr�ngung, - zeugt Stress, schl�gt ihnen aufs Gem�t (Ortmann 1995, S. 100). “ Jedoch sind nicht nur Individuen mit Organisationen konfrontiert, sondern auch Organisationen mit Individuen. Der Einzelne macht auch in einem Kollektivgebilde einen Unterschied, aber nicht immer k�nnen solche Gebilde ausreichende Unterschiede zwischen Einzelnen machen. Organisationen sehen sich deswegen vor die Schwierigkeit - stellt, etwas eigentlich Unteilbares (Individuum) und Einzigartiges (Individualit�t), wenigstens teilweise, in ihre eher allgemeinen Zusammenh�nge einzuf�gen. Inw- weit und mit welcher Qualit�t dies gelingt, hat dabei unmittelbaren Einfluss auf den kollektiven Erfolg wie das Wohlergehen des Einzelnen. Denn nur wenn die Integ- tion von Individuum und Organisation zur beidseitigen Zufriedenheit gelingt, - wachsen daraus jene Synergien, die Organisationen zu den in Tat unverzichtbaren Elementen unseres Alltags im positiven Sinn machen.
