Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde untersucht, ob und wie sich klassische diskrete ereignisgesteuerte Simulationstools in das Framework der High Level Architecture (HLA), einer verteilten Simulationsarchitektur des amerikanischen Department of Defense, integrieren lassen. Die Motivation hierf�r ist, da� die meisten der bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt durch die Entwickler von HLA, dem Defense Modeling and Simulation Office (DMSO), ver�ffentlichten Beispielanwendungen in der Programmiersprache C++ verfa�t wurden. Obwohl vielf�ltige Bibliotheken zur Simulation direkt in C++ zur Verf�gung stehen, ist es f�r einen an den Komfort von Simulationstools bzw. Simulationssprachen gew�hnten Simulationsentwickler als eher hinderlich zu betrachten, eine Simulation in C++ zu programmieren, nur um an einer verteilten Simulation im HLA-Stil teilnehmen zu k�nnen. Da die High Level Architecture aber gerade durch ihre offene Architektur dazu einl�dt, die verschiedensten Tools miteinander zu koppeln, sollte die Frage untersucht werden, ob und wie sich verschiedene existierende Simulatoren in die HLA integrieren lassen. Gang der Untersuchung: Hierzu werden zuerst die grundlegenden Ideen und Charakteristika der HLA, soweit sie f�r diese Arbeit relevant sind, diskutiert (Kaptitel 2). Danach erfolgt in Kapitel 3 eine Aufstellung und Diskussion einer Liste von Anforderungen, die Simulatoren prinzipiell erf�llen m�ssen, um HLA-Kompatibilit�t zu erreichen. In Kapitel 4 wird dann auf einige im Rahmen dieser Arbeit exemplarisch untersuchte Simulationstools eingegangen. Es wird diskutiert, inwieweit sie den in Kapitel 3 aufgestellten Anforderungen gen�gen. Weiterhin wird am Beispiel der Implementierung der HLA-Anbindung von SLX dokumentiert, wie eine m�gliche L�sung f�r die HLA-Anbindung eines Tools aussehen kann. Aus den untersuchten Tools werden verschiedene allgemeine Strategien zur HLA-Anbindung von Simulationstools abgeleitet und diskutiert. In Kapitel 5 erfolgt
