Hao Pu is a professor with Railway Engineering Department, School of Civil Engineering, Central South University. He is the author of four books and more than fifty articles. His research interests include computer-aided design of road and railway, network-based three-dimensional simulation and visualization, virtual reality, road and railway alignment optimization, and network-based visualization for operation and management of mechanical and electrical equipment. He is the chairman of the Digital Construction Department in National Engineering Laboratory for High Speed Railway Construction Technology and Vice-chairman of the Alignment Department in China Railway Society
Paul Schonfeld has been a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environment Engineering, University of Maryland, since 1993. He has experience in analyzing various transportation systems, including railroads and rail transit systems, road networks and traffic management systems, freight logistics, inland waterways and airports.
