About the Author
Prof. Siba Kumar Udgata is Professor in Computer and Information Sciences at University of Hyderabad, India. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science in the area of mobile computing and wireless communications and also worked as United Nations Fellow and worked in the UNU/IIST, Macau. His research focus is on wireless communication, Wi-Fi sensing, mobile computing, intelligent sensors, sensor network algorithms, Internet of Things, and applications. He has published more than 150 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He has worked as Principal Investigator in many Government of India funded research projects mainly for the development of wireless sensor network applications, Wi-Fi sensing for assistive healthcare, and Wi-Fi sensing-enabled smart-home applications.
Prof. Srinivas Sethi is Professor in Computer Science Engineering & Application, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang (IGIT, Sarang), India, and has been actively involved in teaching and research since 1997. He did his Ph.D., in the area of routing algorithms in mobile ad hoc network and is continuing his research work in the wireless sensor network, cognitive radio network, cloud computing, BCI, and Cognitive Science. He is Member of Editorial Board for different journal and Program Committee Member for different international conferences/ workshop. He is Book Editor of 4 international conference proceedings published in Springer, and Taylor & Francis. He has published more than 90 research papers in international journals, edited book chapters, and conference proceedings. He also published 2 nos. of Books. He completed 8 numbers of research and consultancy project funded by different funding agencies such as DRDO, DST, AICTE, NPIU, and local Govt. office.
George Ghinea (Member, IEEE) is currently Professor of mulsemedia computing with the Computer Science Department, Brunel University London, UK His work focuses on building ubiquitous and adaptable cross-layer end-to-end communication systems incorporating user multisensorial and perceptual requirements. He has applied his expertise in areas such as eye-tracking, telemedicine, multi-modal interaction, and ubiquitous and mobile computing, leading a team of 8 researchers in these areas. He has over 350 publications in his research field and his work has been funded by both national and international fora. He consults regularly for both public and private institutions in his areas of expertise.
Dr. Sanjay K. Kuanar is currently serving as Professor and Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department of GIET University. He has earned his Ph.D. degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in November, 2015, obtained his M.E. (Computer Engineering) degree from Jadavpur University in 2007, and B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Utkal University in 1998. His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, multimedia computing, and software metrics. He has authored and co-authored several publications in refereed SCI journals including IEEE Transactions and has many international IEEE peer-reviewed conference publications like ICPR, ICAPR, etc., to his credit. His papers got many citations with h-index of 7 and i-10 index of 5. He is Reviewer for many national and international peer-reviewed journals and Member of technical program committee for many national and international conferences.
