Intelligent Transportation Management: Current Issues and Solutions

This monograph examines key theoretical and practical issues and provides a comprehensive overview of current scientific challenges associated with the digitalization of processes in the development of intelligent transport systems. Contemporary solutions to these challenges are demonstrated through case studies, methodological frameworks, theoretical and applied generalizations, and mathematical and information models and algorithms. The primary challenges and corresponding solutions associated with digitalization and intelligent transport management are analyzed in relation to several key areas: technical and technological equipment of vehicles, road infrastructure, development of information systems and navigation applications, regulatory frameworks, standardization and parameterization for reliability and security, system interaction and effective traffic management, training in intelligent systems, application of artificial intelligence in transport, and the practical design, construction, simulation, optimization, and implementation of machine and deep learning to enhance security and sustainability in transport.
