Intensive Diabetes Management (Paperback or Softback)

Intensive diabetes management is the process by which blood glucose levels are closely controlled using multiple daily insulin injections or an insulin pump. Howard A. Wolpert, MD is a Senior Physician at the Joslin Diabetes Center (Boston, MA) and the Director of the Joslin Institute Technology Translation, where he established the Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Program. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and has residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His special interests are insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, digital health technology, and closed loop technologies.
