Despite their many obvious interconnections, EU and international law are all too often studied and practised in different spheres. Inge Govaere is Professor of European Law and Director of the Ghent European Law Institute (G.E.L.I.) at Ghent University as well as Director of the European Legal Studies Department at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium.
