Intermodulation Distortion in Microwave and Wireless Circuits

Pedro and Carvalho (both U. of Aveiro and the Telecommunications Institute, both in Portugal) write primarily for engineers working in radio frequency and microwave circuit design, but also for researchers, academics, or graduate students who have at least the equivalent of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. In a broad view of nonlinear distortion phenomena encountered in microwave and wireless systems, they discuss intermodulation distortion problems in general from a systems perspective, characterizing nonlinear distortion, mathematical analysis tools, the mathematical representation of electronic devices, and circuit design methods to minimize distortion.
