This book presents selected papers from the International Conference on Computing, Communication, Electrical and Biomedical Systems (ICCCEBS 2021), held in March 2021 at KPR College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The conference explores the interface between industry and real-time environments with newly developed techniques in computing and communications engineering. The papers describe results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, and theoretical work in areas of computing, communication, electrical, and biomedical systems. Contributors include academic scientists, researchers, industry representatives, postdoctoral fellows, and research scholars from around the world.

Dr. Arulmurugan Ramu is a Professor, Presidency University, Bangalore, India. His research focuses on the automatic interpretation of images and related problems in machine learning and optimization. His main research interest is in vision, particularly high-level visual recognition. He has authored more than 35 papers in major computer vision and machine learning conferences and journals. He is the recipient of Ph.D. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering from the Anna University at Chennai, M.Tech in Information Technology Anna University of Technology and B.Tech degree in Information Technology. He is guided many Ph.D. research scholar under the area of Image Processing using Machine Learning. He is an Associate Editor of Inderscience IJISC journal. He is awarded as Best Young Faculty Award 2018 and nominated for Best Young Researcher Award (Male) by International Academic and Research Excellence Awards (IARE-2019).

Chee-Onn Chow received his Bachelor ofEngineering (Hons) and Master of Engineering Science degrees from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He received his Doctorate of Engineering from the Tokai University, Japan in 2008. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering as tutor in 1999, and subsequently been offered a lecturer position in 2001. He is currently an Associate Professor in the same department since 2015. His research interests include various issues related to wireless communications. He is a Chartered Engineer (IET, UK), a Professor Engineer (BEM, Malaysia) and a Senior Members of IEEE.

M. G. Sumithra, serves as Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India. She obtained BE(Electronics and Comm. Engg.) from Govt. College of Engineering, Salem, India in 1994, received M.E.(Medical Electronics) from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University Chennai, India in 2001 and received PhD( Information and Communication Engineering) Anna University Chennai, India in 2011. Her areas of interest include Big Data, Signal Processing, Medical Image Processing, Biomedical Engineering and Wireless Communications. She has published 55 technical papers in refereed journals, 124 research papers in national and International conferences in India and abroad. She is an active member in various professional societies like ISTE, IEEE, IAENG, IACSIT, IET,  IEEE Nanotechnology Council, IEEE Biometrics Council IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee, Cloud Computing Community, Green ICT Community and Fellow in IETE, India Bio-Design.
