John McKay was Foundation Director of the Monash Asia Institute and the Australian APEC Study Centre at Monash University in Melbourne, and is now Honorary Professor in the School of Humanities and Social Science at Deakin University, Australia.

Janet Hunt is Associate Professor at the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research at the Australian National University, Australia.
