Books measure 11 1/4 x 9 inches. Collation, xvii, 491pp, xviii, 500pp, xvii, 534pp, xvii, 642pp, extensively illustrated. Bound in original publishers black cloth, yellow boards. Bindings are dust/dirt marked. Bindings in good solid condition. Internally, 14 pages in volume 2 are creased with short tear on margin, not affecting text. Pages in good condition throughout. EACH VOLUME IS STAMP ON BOTTOM OUTER EDGE [ DAMAGED ]. I can seen any damage other than the 14 pages mentioned. Although the bindings are grubby, a good solid set. Size: Quarto.
