About the Author
John and Leslie Kettlewell have cruised the waters between Canada and the Caribbean for 20 years, including more than a dozen trips on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. For 12 of those years they lived aboard full-time. Though temporarily living ashore in Camden, Maine, where they are raising a son and a daughter, they continue to sail their 32-foot catamaran, Echo, every chance they get. A former editor for Reed's Nautical Almanac, John is a freelance writer, editor, and photographer.
