Internet and Computer Slang Dictionary

The first of its kind, the Internet and Computer Slang Dictionary provides definitions of over nine thousand Internet and computer slang terms, acronyms, and abbreviations as used in websites, instant messengers, chat rooms, blogs, short messaging services (SMS), and Internet forums. Aimed at readers aged thirteen and older, this book is educational as well as a fun read, and promises to keep you entertained, surprised, shocked, and amused. However, author James Kittell II stresses that some terms in the dictionary will come across as offensive and vulgar if used inappropriately, so discretion is advised. Humorous, fun, dramatic, deep, and even nasty—this highly original resource has it all.

James Kittell II earned a bachelor's degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. A few years after his graduation, he launched an educational American Sign Language (ASL) translating media library to prepare deaf participants in their pursuit for further education in colleges or trade schools, and to work in today's careers. A business owner, self-taught computer expert, and author, Kittell currently resides in Southern California. His latest book is entitled Internet and Computer Slang Dictionary.
