87, [1] p. Facsimiles, folding genealogical tables, bibliography. 1 of 400 sets issued in English. Publisher's blue cloth, gilt ISSUED WITH a colour printed facsimile of the original, on heavy card to simulate the original document on deerskin. Housed in a leather backed box, as issued. Slight loss of surface on the leather joint of the box, and a small bump to a lower corner of the box. All the contents are in fine conditon. Probably written c.1500 as a genealogical chronicle of the Mixtec people of the Oaxaco region of Mexico. The ms. had reached Oxford by c.1603-1605.
