National Awakening by Samuel M. Shoemaker. This book is a First Edition from 1936. This book is in very good condition. This is an ex-library book with several markings on the book indicating so: label on spine, pocket at back of the book and â??Discardâ? stamped at the front and back of the book. There are two stamps on the first page of the book that have been covered up with black marker. The cover of the book has some light wear, bumped corners. There are several pages in the book with line markings in the margins. Moderate page toning. Sam Shoemaker was a pioneer in the Oxford group movement and is well known in the recovery community as he was AA cofounder Bill Wilsonâ??s spiritual advisor during the vital pioneering days of AA. Bill W. wrote:Ââ??Dr. Sam Shoemaker was one of A.A.â??s indispensables. Had it not been for his ministry to us in our early time, our Fellowship would not be in existence today.â?
