Sie zielte auf die Evaluierung dieser Programme, die auf interkulturellem Lernen basieren. Die zunehmenden Globalisierungsprozesse in den Gebieten von Handel, Politik, Kultur und Religion erfordern ökumenische und interreligiöse Ausbildung zukünftiger Pastoren und Religionslehrer in anderen Kulturen, um die Herausforderungen zu Hause effizienter zu bewältigen. Die Beitragenden sind Teilnehmer dieser Studienprogramme, deren Organisatoren vor Ort sowie ihre unterstützenden Organisationen. Die 20 bzw. 40-jährigen Erfahrungen mit diesen Programmen sind so ermutigend, dass es sich für die Kirchen dringend empfiehlt, Studierende zur Teilnahme zu ermutigen und diese Programme mehr zu unterstützen.
