Gregory DeClue, PhD, ABPP, is a licensed Florida Psychologist in independent practice in Sarasota, Florida, and is police psychologist for several law-enforcement agencies. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Psychology. Dr. DeClue has conducted over 1,000 criminal forensic psychological evaluations and over 1,000 evaluations of prospective or current law enforcement or corrections officers. He has written articles across a wide range of forensic psychological practice areas, including child custody, competency, malingering, sex-offender re-offense risk assessment, and confessions. He is 2004-2005 president of the Consortium of Police Psychologists (COPPS) and has presented workshops sponsored by COPPS, the American Psychological Association and American Academy of Forensic Psychology, the Missouri Prevention Institute, the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Mental Health Institute, and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
