Intersection of Joy and Money: A Workbook for Changing Your Relationship with Money

A native Georgian, Mackey, graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. A former Controller, Mackey has worked twenty -three years in public accounting for and with both regional and national accounting firms, and developed accounting curriculum for Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. Mackey holds a CPA Certificate in Kentucky and Ohio, and has her Certificate of Educational Achievement from the AICPA in Personal Financial Planning. She is certified as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the AICPA. Mackey is also a certified Enneagam teacher in the oral tradition.

Professionally, her honors include: Northern Kentucky Accounting Executive of the Year; YWCA Career Woman of Achievement; Cincinnati Business and professional Woman of the Year and Accountant Advocate of the Year by the Kentucky Small Business Administration. However, Mackey believes in and devotes a significant amount of her time to community service. She has held active and leadership roles in many business and civic organizations such as: Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce; Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce; American Institute of CPA’s, Kentucky Society of CPA; Kentucky Small Business Development Center, Fine Arts Fund; United Way; Northern Kentucky League of Women Voters and Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky, to name a few.

Mackey’s passion is to help people bring personal power to their relationship to money. Wealthy, in debt, or just hanging in there, most people have a relationship of scarcity or fear around money. In her work with individuals and businesses, she has developed techniques to facilitate transforming this relationship to one of joy. These ideas are captured in her latest accomplishment, her new book: The Intersection of Joy and Money. Mackey uses her experience and knowledge to lead the reader through a journey of self-discovery and self-actualization of the reader’s relationship with money. This is a revolutionary concept and is a must read for everyone.

Mackey resides in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. She enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, rowing, dancing and spending time with her friends and family. She attends New Thought Unity Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her daughter Sarah is in college at Northern Kentucky University.

In addition to being a frequent lecturer and guest speaker on business and financial topics, Mackey is a partner in Mackey McNeill Mohr, PSC, an accounting and consulting firm; Mohr Financial Services, Inc., a registered investment advisory company; and also owns The 5th Field, a business coaching system.
