Intersections

"Intersections" is about the journey through life as told through a collection of poems that touch the soul. We are all on a mystical journey, and Corina Cristea takes us through a series of stories about life and death, happiness and sadness. As we all move forward on our journey, we learn about strength and weakness, making promises and breaking promises, forgiving and unforgiving, love lost and love found. "Intersections" is about unrequited love and the belief that love is not about keeping but rather giving; it is not about holding grudges but rather letting go; it is not about expectations but rather expecting nothing in return. Love can heal and love can hurt, but in the end, love is an amazing and powerful emotion. Without it, life really has no meaning. And in the end, no matter which way we go on life's path and what decisions we make along the way, we all inevitably meet at the same intersections. . .

Corina Cristea is a free-lance writer who lives and works in New York City. She has been writing poetry since she was five years old as a way to express herself to the world. Her mission is to reach a young audience with fresh, modern, and timely poetry - touching one soul at a time. Originally from Europe, Corina's first poetry book was published in her native language of Romanian in 1995. She has written for several print and on-line trade publications, including Billboard Magazine, and Brandweek. She has also worked in television at the Charlie Rose Show. She holds a journalism and political science degree from Hunter College in New York City, and her passions are music, writing, psychology, fashion, travel, and international affairs. She is a member of the National Library of Poetry Hall of Fame. Corina works in the legal field and is currently writing her first novel.
