Sunderman</b> is associate professor emerita of English at Mississippi State University and author of <i>Connections: Writing Across Disciplines.</i> She has published numerous articles in women’s studies and in stylistics. <b>Therese Saliba</b> is on the faculty of Third World Feminist Studies at Evergreen State College, Washington, and is coeditor of Gender, Politics, and Islam.
