The Interstellar Police Force, Book One: The Historic Mission

Five alien prisoners. Two undercover agents. One unexpectedly becomes a dog.
When five dangerous prisoners escape and flee to a little-known planet called Earth, the Interstellar Police Force sends its best agents to bring them home.
But the agents are unmistakably alien. To infiltrate Earth, they must replicate themselves to look human. The commander's transformation goes perfectly. His partner's replication, however, is anything but.
Thanks to a computer glitch, Agent Jeff Trent's longtime partner is now a Doberman Pinscher by the name of Genghis Khan.
Armed with little more than their knowledge of Earth gathered from 1950s B-movies, Jeff and Genghis are on their own in modern America, hunting a notorious serial killer and his fellow escapees. But every step of the way, their attempts to blend in threaten to expose who — or what — they really are.
And that might be the least of their problems.
When a young woman named Jennifer discovers their secret, she becomes their unexpected ally — and could also be the one person who can help them complete their mission before everything goes off the rails.
Fast-paced, funny, and packed with action, The Historic Mission puts a wildly unconventional spin on first contact.
Perfect for readers who enjoy the offbeat science-fiction humor of Douglas Adams, the adventure of John Scalzi's Redshirts, and the ensemble spirit of the TV series Firefly.
What happens when aliens come to Earth expecting to find the world they've seen in the movies? You get one unforgettable mission — and one unforgettable dog.
The Historic Mission is Book One of The Interstellar Police Force trilogy.
