Interview with an Angel

A research psychologist and a minister team up to share an angel's messages about life and death, religion, the afterlife, extraterrestrials, and much more.

In January 1994 Dr. Linda Sue Nathanson, a research psychologist seeking a medical alternative, met Rev.Stevan Thayer, a holistic practitioner and developer of Integrated Energy Therapy(r) (IET). At times during their IET sessions, Stevan entered a self-induced, altered state of consciousness and spoke in a voice not his own, offering knowledge beyond his experience. In time, Linda came to believe she was in a dialog not with Stevan, but with another "personality," identifying itself as Ariel, to whom Stevan had "connected." Linda began asking questions of this other personality in much the same way she saw lawyers and psychiatrists probe multiple personalities in movies and television programs. Ariel said, "We plant the knowledge, the knowing, in his [Stevan's] mind...." Directing her questions, then, not to Stevan but to a nonphysical intelligence beyond Stevan's conscious awareness, Linda began by asking for permission and cooperation in compiling Ariel's words and wisdom into a book. Linda's first question I would like to ask you questions the way an explorer meeting an unknown life form would ask and then put your words in a book. How do you feel about that? Ariel: We find it humorous that you would ask us if we would be willing to do what it is that we chose you to do.
