Sie geh�ren in vielen sozialwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen zur allt�glichen Forschungspraxis; sei es als eigenst�ndige Erhebungsmethode, sei es als exploratives oder erg�nzendes Instrument im Kontext quantitativer oder qualitativer Forschungsdesigns. Auf der anderen Seite sind ExpertInneninterviews trotz (oder wegen?) ihrer Praxisrelevanz methodisch wenig reflektiert. Dieses Defizit will der vorliegende Band beheben und eine �bersichtliche, fundierte und an forschungspraktischen Problemen orientierte Einf�hrung in Theorie und Praxis der ExpertInneninterviews bieten. About the Author

PD Dr. Alexander Bogner arbeitet am Institut f�r Technikfolgenabsch�tzung der �sterreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften in Wien.

PD Dr. Beate Littig ist inzwischen im Ruhestand und war zuvor Leiterin der Abteilung Soziologie am Institut f�r H�here Studien in Wien und Dozentin f�r Soziologie an der Universit�t Wien.

Dr. Wolfgang Menz ist Professor am Fachbereich Sozial�konomie der Universit�t Hamburg.
