Intimacy with God: Extraordinary miracles that opened a skeptic's heart to God

2015 Oregon Christian Writers Cascade Award, Indie Reader 5 Stars, Portland Book Review 5 Stars

Intimacy with God is an inspiring spiritual memoir chronicling the author's dramatic journey from secular skepticism to a deep and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Intimacy with God demonstrates how God calls us to Himself, encourages us in defeat, ministers to us in our pain, and opens His heart to ours. Intimacy with God is a humorous and candid telling of God's powerful and oftentimes fatherly interventions that changed the author's life, and the lives of those around him.

Intimacy with God reassures us that God is real and that the Bible is true.

Intimacy with God helps us to see the extravagant grace of God actively working to deepen our personal relationship with Him. It encourages us to be transparent with God, to open our heart to His, and to experience awe and intimacy with Him in prayer. If we ever wonder if our loving Heavenly Father hears our prayers, the answer is a resounding YES!

This second edition of Dr. Oberto’s Intimacy with God, includes 28% more material; more background and detail, and 7 additional stories of God’s saving love and grace in people’s lives.

Jesus said it best: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me," (Revelation 3:20, ESV). Opening our hearts to God in prayer is the first step to intimacy with Him.
