About the Author

Ralph Sassone was born in Manhattan. A former editor at The Village Voice, he studied writing at Brown University and he has taught there as well as at Haverford College and Vassar. His work has appeared in several publications including The New York Times, The Village Voice, and Details. He lives in New York City and upstate New York. The Intimates is his first novel.
