About the Author: Edwin David Aponte is executive director of the Louisville Institute and research professor of religion and culture at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is author of ¡Santo! Varieties of Latino/a Spirituality (Orbis).

Miguel A. De La Torre is professor of social ethics and Latino/a studies at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO. An ordained Southern Baptist minister, he is the author of 18 books, including Reading the Bible from the Margins, Trails of Hope and Terror, and Introducing Lib­erative Theologies (all Orbis). Winner of the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Martin Marty Public Scholarship Award.
