Firmly bound, blue cloth boards with some localized fading, foxing marks on the end papers and closed page edges, college library ink stamp on the front end paper, no other library markings. Jacket in very poor condition with marks, creases and tears, also substantial paper loss from the top of the spine and top back, reprint of the 1950 sixth edition.
